![]() I set it to 0.5 and that was about perfect to keep the level in the middle of the db range. Apparently the zoom has a setting lower than 1 - if you keep pressing down (at least in stereo mode) you can set it to a decimal value. This is a thoroughly unpleasant user experience - anyone have any advice? Any help is much appreciated, I hope my explanation is clear enough.ĮDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. I have done this for output 3&4 and thought that would be enough, however, when doing it for the main speakers, it is simply too loud and I have no control over the volume. ![]() The only way I can seem to get round this is by selecting the 'thru daw' option on the router for my main speakers. This means, when it comes back in to my daw from the tape, there is a delay effect where the sound is played twice, making it an unintelligible mess. If I send my mix out through outputs 3&4 to my tape deck, when it comes into my DAW there is an echo - the sound is being sent to my main speakers at the same time as the tape. ![]() However, with the Audient ID44, I can't seem to get this setup in any usable way. ![]() For instance, if I send my mix into my tape deck, through 3&4, the signal cannot be heard until it comes back into my DAW through the inputs. On my old Motu 828 mkII, if I sent a sound out through 3&4, the sound would simply go out through 3&4 and could only be heard through the output attached to that. I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I have recently gotten an Audient ID44 and it is driving me insane! ![]()
